Bob Kaplitz joined the media research and consulting firm AR&D in 1980 after a distinguished career in broadcast journalism -- a career which included reports on the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite and recognition by RTNDA as Best TV Investigative Reporter in the U.S. and Canada.
The Content Marketing division's clients include the Dallas Cowboys, The Four Seasons Resort and Club, Sundance Square, Kids R Kids Learning Academy, and many professionals.
Bob has consulted TV stations and media groups in markets including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Detroit, Cleveland and has spoken abroad in cities as far flung as Sydney, Australia and Hong Kong. For WFAA-TV in Dallas, he helped develop the highly successful "Spirit of Texas."

A Blackout Day In The History of Internet is TODAY, January 18, 2012 To Protect
As much as I want to carry on with the day to do my work and my business, I cannot ignore the fact that today is the day of the first Blackout Day in the history of the Internet because of the protest to stop SOPA and PIPA in our US Congress.
I want to carry on with my business and my busy day of work, but every where I go on the Internet, I come across a black screen of messages. So, it got my attention. How many of us are out there, really, like those we called in my old language, "One Eye Open, One Eye Closed." And no matter what we call it in whatever language, we cannot ignore the fact that "it cannot be everyone is wrong" on something that big and small, rich and poor and everyone and everything in between, as it seems, are standing side by side with one message: Stop SOPA and Stop PIPA.

Since our last Weekly News and Update sent last Monday, Jan. 8th, we had two meetups already. The first one was last Tuesday, Jan. 10th. The subject was on Business Plan 2012 for All Our Meetup Groups. Among the attendees were a physician, a dietician, business owners, speakers, business coaches, a jewelry maker, an app maker and more.
Everyone was very attentive and taking many notes on the Planning Process that I gave from my own business planning. If you did not attend, you missed so much.
